New York Skyline Its Marvelous Skyscrapers

New York� is primarily known for its busy active life and its line of skyscrapers. The city of New York has the world’s biggest and largest skyline buildings. Its buildings ascend upwards as if developing from the buds. Many tourists who visit the United States for the first time usually go see New York City.

Some of the most common high rise buildings are The Top of the Rock: The view from the Top of The Rock is just magnificent and fabulous. On the 69th floor of the building, there is a Rockefeller Center which is considered to be mind-blowing. This building is also called the GE building. The second one on the list is the Empire State Building. The view from the Empire State Building can be observed from two different places. One is from the 86th floor and the other one is from the 102nd floor. The 102nd floor however, is closed for renovation. The tower got completed in the year 1931. The third high rise building is the Met Life Building, which is also a very tall skyscraper. The World Trades Center, also know as the Twin Towers was the tallest skyscraper in New York City. However, after the 9/11 attack , it was destroyed. The place currently is called Ground Zero. The Twin Towers once stood 1,727 feet tall.

The Citigroup Center has 59 stories and is considered to be one of the most important post wars building in the city of New York. New York City also has the Time Square Building and is a unique example of the green and steel construction. Some other skyscrapers are Midtown Manhattan, Time Warner Center and the International Style.
