There are many natural treasures in South America. It houses most of the largest, widest and tallest natural structure, such as the biggest rainforest and river (Amazon, Brazil), highest mountain range aside from Everest (Andes), most remote islands (Easter islands, Galapagos and Fernando de Noronha islands), the world’s tallest waterfalls (Angel Falls) and one of the largest (Iguacu falls situated between Argentina and Brazil) It is affirmative that South Americans are passionate about samba, festivals and sports, especially soccer. If you are a soccer fan, it is best you visit these countries if there are nationwide sports competitions or colorful festivals to feel their stunning passion yourself. South America mostly takes pride of its diverse wildlife which can be experienced on a number of forests scattered throughout its countries. Examples will be the Pantanal in Brazil, Parque Nacional Madidi, Bolivia and the Galápagos Islands in Ecuador. An ancient site you must visit is the Machu Picchu in Peru, which is the remnant of the Inca tribe. If you want to visit a cool town, Buenos Aires in Argentina will be a good place, as it boasts of elegant buildings, good food and charming residents. In contrast, Colombia’s Cartagena is an ancient town filled with winding roads and flowers blooming abundantly everywhere; its meek yet graceful charm will surely make you fall in love with it. These scenic spots will surely make you leave South America with fond memories and a refreshed spirit.
